Member Application and Approval Process

Each individual seeking membership in the BEC shall submit a membership application. The membership application shall be in a form approved by the Board of Trustees.  Upon receipt of the membership application, the members of the Membership Committee shall review such application and take such further action as they deem reasonably appropriate to evaluate the applicant.  In the event that the Membership Committee shall preliminarily approve the applicant for admission, the membership application shall be submitted to the Board of Trustees for approval at the next scheduled meeting of the Board of Trustees.

No Refunds of Annual Membership Fees

Annual membership fees shall be non-refundable.

Member Dinner Event Pricing

The registration price for a regular dinner meeting of the BEC for any member shall be $65.  Pricing shall be subject to change, from time to time, with the approval of the Board of Trustees.

Non-Member Dinner Event Pricing

 The registration price for a regular dinner meeting of the BEC for any non-member who registers online prior to 4 PM on the day of the event shall be $95. Pricing shall be subject to change, from time to time, with the approval of the Board of Trustees.

Guest Dinner Event Pricing

The registration price for a regular dinner meeting of the BEC for paid guests of platinum sponsors shall be $60.

Except as set forth above with respect to paid guests of platinum sponsors, the registration price for a regular dinner meeting for any paid guest registered by a member using the then-applicable coupon code shall be $65.

Pricing shall be subject to change, from time to time, with the approval of the Board of Trustees.

Walk-In Dinner Event Pricing and Registration

Non-members who do not register in advance and seek to register at the event shall be charged a fee of $110. Walk-in registration will be subject to availability and registration at the event is not guaranteed.  Pricing shall be subject to change, from time to time, with the approval of the Board of Trustees.

Attendance of Guests, Non-Members and Individuals Seeking Membership

Non-members may attend as many dinner events as they desire at the then-current non-member price. A non-member will not be permitted be registered as a guest for more than two dinner events.  Any individual who submits an application for membership with the BEC shall be permitted to attend BEC events at the member price pending review of their application.  In the event that the application is not accepted, the individual shall be subject to the non-member price for all events subsequent to the date such application is not accepted.

Online Registration Deadline

Online registration shall close at 4 PM on the date of the regular dinner event.

Event Refunds

The BEC adheres to a strict cancellation/refund policy. A registrant must cancel their registration one week prior to the event to receive a refund unless otherwise specified. To cancel the registration, the registrant must email admin@businessexecutives.org and include the registrant’s name and the date of the event. After that period NO REFUNDS OR CREDIT FOR FUTURE EVENTS will be given. However, substitutions are welcome. To send a substitute, the registrant should use their best efforts to email the identity of the substitute prior to the event to admin@businessexecutives.org.

Sponsorship

The Chair of the Sponsorship Committee shall have primary responsibility for creating a sponsorship policy for the BEC, which policy shall be subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees. The policy will include, at a minimum, sponsorship pricing and benefits to be received by sponsors.  Unless otherwise approved by the Board of Trustees, annual sponsorship payments shall not be pro-rated
